GREENE COUNTY
The Greene County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Dough Daddy Dough Food Trailer with a ribbon-cutting ceremony during “Food Truck Friday” May 12, at 1124 Lake Oconee Pkwy., Eatonton, where it will be stationed from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each Friday.
Dough Daddy Dough is the creation of John and Sandy Padjen, who wanted to bring Chicago-style food to Lake Country. They offer Chicago pan pizza, Chicago-style Vienna beef hot dogs, Chicago Italian beef on hoagie buns, and the “Combo,” featuring Italian beef/ Italian sausage with sweet peppers or hot giardiniera.
Their melt-in-your-mouth Sweet Cream Cheese Strawberry Crepes are John’s mother’s recipe. All food is baked to order and to go.
“We are also a proud sponsor of the Lake Oconee BBQ Fest, to be held 10 a.m. to dusk on June 17th at The Farm (1040 Oconee Heights Ln., Greensboro),” John Padjen said. “There will be live music, the Georgia Classic Car Show, food trucks, the Oconee Brewing Company beer tent, and of course the BBQ contest.”
Dough Daddy Dough is available to hire for events all days but Fridays. Visit online at dddpizza.com, send an email to info@dddpizza.com, or call 706-816-8405 for details.
