Ron Smith of Monroe poses with his 1934 Ford extended-cab truck. Smith said his friend was throwing the wheels away, so he picked them up and starting from the wheels, he built the entire vehicle, making several custom parts himself. The body and radiator cover are fiberglass, the fenders are custom-made out of aluminum, and the motor, transmission, and rear end are all Chevrolet components.
