The annual Breakfast with Santa at Harbor Club took place Dec. 13-14 with more than 70 families coming for a delicious buffet-style breakfast and having a photo or two taken with Santa. This festive event kicks off the holiday season.
This longstanding and sold-out tradition is a special event for all in Harbor Club.
Along with breakfast and Santa, each child selects a special Christmas book, which is then signed by Santa himself.
Residents Mike and Linda Jochim have been bringing their grandchildren to Breakfast with Santa for 14 years.
Their oldest granddaughter, now 20, is at college, and they ensure to never miss a Breakfast with Santa.
Linda also ensures that the entire family are in special Christmas attire and says that they intend to continue this family event.
There are many other families who have never missed a Breakfast with Santa and Santa is thrilled that each child gets a book, as he believes it helps with getting a child engaged in books, and who can disagree with Santa?
