The 7th annual Lake Country Juried Art Show took place May 11, at Barrel 118 in Eatonton. This year the show featured 95 works from 48 artists from Lake Country, as well as Athens and Macon.
"We had more people enter this year than any year before," Show Chairperson Cathy McIntire said.
The Artisans Village Guild sponsored the show, with Lauren Adams, a professional artist, entrepreneur, and educator who is currently teaching at Oconee Cultural Art Foundation in Watkinsville judging the winners this year.
Any artist in the area may enter the show with up to three works of art in any medium. It must be an original work and has to be within specifications for size framing to fit in the gallery.
After the show, all submitted works of art were moved to the Artisans Village Art Gallery (110 W. Marion St., Eatonton), where they will be exhibited from May 17 to July 7.
