Mrs. Judith “Judy” McClure White, 71, of Eatonton, GA passed away on November 14, 2020. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on December 5, 2020 at First United Methodist Church of Eatonton.

Judy was born on September 12, 1949 in Waynesburg, PA to the late Ray and Julia McClure. Judy graduated from Waynesburg High School and then matriculated to The University of Pittsburgh. She graduated in August 1971 with a degree in Physical Therapy. Judy began her professional career practicing physical therapy in Ohio and New York. She then spent a couple of years working in Venezuela and traveling in much of South America. She enjoyed her time there very much and gained a great deal of work experience. Judy moved to Atlanta, GA in 1976 and practiced physical therapy at several hospitals; working mostly at nursing homes in and around Atlanta and throughout much of GA.

She worked tirelessly as always caring for and putting the needs of her patients first. Judy then, with her husband, moved to Lake Oconee, GA in 2006. She continued working in her profession employed by Integra Rehabilitation. She worked primarily at nursing homes in Milledgeville, Eatonton, and Sparta. She retired in 2019. If you accept that God put us here to serve and help others, then you know how Judy lived her life. She gave of herself freely and asked little or nothing in return. She was highly respected and loved by her colleagues; mentoring many with her encouragement, wealth of knowledge and experience gained while practicing her craft over the many years she worked. Judy was an avid Bulldogs fan and loved living on Lake Oconee. She enjoyed boating, visiting with her friends and loved ones, (and there were many). Judy is preceded in death by her son, Edward, whom she adored; and brothers, Edward and Harold “Kip” McClure.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, George White of Eatonton; a sister, Jill Wright of Waynesburg, PA; her two daughters, Julie and Paula; sister-in-law Barbara McClure of Scottdale, PA; nephews Michael McClure of Waynesburg, PA, Todd McClure of Strongsville OH; nieces, Pam Lehasky of Mount Clare, WV; and Amy Batis of Ligonier, PA

To Judy: Well done thy good and faithful servant, God Bless You!
