Amici, the popular local family restaurant concept known for its gourmet pizza, famously delicious hot wings and entertaining atmosphere, has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years. As the number of Amici restaurants has increased to a total of nine located in Georgia and South Carolina, a need for regional operations managers has developed. Amici Food Group, LLC, is pleased to announce the promotion of two longtime employees, Stephanie Mason and Branden Hudson, to Regional Operations Manager.
Mason, an Amici veteran of 17 years, and Hudson, who recently celebrated his 15 th anniversary with Amici, both know the company, its mission – and of course, its food – inside and out.
In her new role as Regional Operations Manager, Mason says that it will allow her to “impact the big picture and serve as a liaison between patrons and staff” with a customer service focus. “Our customer is the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of why Amici exists,” she says. “When you come to Amici, we want it to feel like being at home in your living room. A place surrounded by good people, good food and good vibes. I love it.”
Hudson’s focus involves maintaining operational consistency throughout the enterprise. “We want everything our customers order to taste the same way every time: Delicious,” he says. “The way to do that is to make sure the kitchen staff are following the same procedures on every menu item at every location. Each Amici is a little different, in its own way, so maintaining that consistency we strive for is always challenging.” He adds with a grin, “But I always enjoy a challenge.”
Mike Torino, CEO of Amici Food Group, is very excited about Amici’s future. “We expect great things from Stephanie and Branden, and I know they will continue to be assets for the brand,” he says. “Keep an eye on Amici this year because we continue to grow, and we are always looking for the best and brightest people to join our team.”
